(一)、语言知识

1.everyfiveminutes意为“每五分钟”。

“Every+数词+复数名词”表示“每(隔)多少时间或距离,指动作发生的频率”,这里不能用each,对表示频率的词提问用howoften.例如:

相关链接:在“Every+数词+复数名词”结构中,如果要译为“每隔几个。。。”,在表示时间时,汉语要减一,但在表示距离时,英汉互译数字是一致的。例如:Thereisatreeeverythreemeters.每隔三米有一棵树。

Everyother…表示“每隔一。。。”。例如:Wegotovisitourgrandparentseveryotheryear.我们每隔一年区看望我们的祖父母一次。

2.Unlessyouwanttobuylotsofsouvenirs,wesuggestnottakingalotofmoneywithyou.

Suggest做动词,意为:“建议、提议”,后面跟动词时,用动词-ing形式,变否定时,在动词-ing形式前直接加not.其名词为suggestion“建议”

(二)语法规律总结。

1.although的用法

(1)although是从属连词,“尽管,虽然”,可用在句首或句中,不与but连用,但可与副词yet,still,nevertheless等连用。如:

Althoughmycarisveryold,itstillrunsverywell.

Althoughitwasraining,westillplayedfootball.

(2)多数情况下,although与though同义,可以互换。但although不能与as,even组成短语,“eventhough”即使,asthough好像。如:

Thoughshewasinahurry,shestoppedtotalktome.

Eventhoughitishardwoek,Ienjoyit.

Hesoundsasthoughhehasgotasorethroat.

2.Unless的用法

Unless是从属连词,意思是“如果不。。。,除非。。。”,引导条件状语从句,用一般现在时代替将来时,含有否定意义。可以放句首,也可以放句中。如:

▲eventhough意为“即使”、“尽管”、“纵然”,与evenif意义相同,也引导让步状语从句。如:

①Eventhoughhe’sverynice,Idon’treallytrusthim.尽管他很好,我并不真正信任他。(事实上“很好”)

②Evenifyouarenotfondofflowers,youshouldn’tmisstheflowerexhibition.即使你不喜欢花,这次花展你也不应错过。(假想“不喜欢”)

1.unless引导的条件状语从句。

由于unless具有否定意义,因此它引导的是个否定的条件(如果……不)。可以把它看作是if…not的同义表达手段。如:

②Unlessyouworkhard,youwillfail.=Ifyoudon’tworkhard,youwillfail.

如果你不努力工作,你会失败的。

注意:unless从句,如同if从句一样,也要用一般现在时代替一般将来时。如:

2.sothat引导的目的状语从句

1)sothat引导目的状语从句,从句中通常带有can,could,may,might,should等情态动词,以适用于目的。如:

他们拼命地干,想在晚饭前就把工作干完。

注意:(1)sothat从句如为否定结构,则谓语动词中多用情态动词。

(2)sothat引导的目的状语从句,可转换成inorderthat引导的目的状语从句。若从句主语与主句主语一致,还可用inorderto(do)或soas(todo)改成同义简单句。如:Theyworkedveryhardsothattheycouldfinishtheworkbeforesupper.

2)sothat引导的状语从句也可表示结果,这时sothat从句中根据句意可用或不用情态动词。如:

2)beusedto+名词或动名词表示“习惯于某事或做某事”,这里to为介词,后面的动词须用-ing形式,句子的主语通常是“人”。如:

I’mreallynotusedtosuchcloseandwetweather.

我实在不习惯这样闷热且潮湿的天气。

4.mean意为“意思是”“有……的意思”“指的是”。如:

‘Whatdoyoumean?’‘Imeannothingelse.’

“你是什么意思?”“我没什么别的意思。”

mean后面可接名词、代词、动词-ing形式或that从句,意为“意味着”“就是”

那也就是说人们能享受更干净的空气了。

mean的名词形式为meaning,意为“意思”“含义”。meaningful是形容词,意为“有重要意义的”。meaningless也是形容词,意为“无意义的”。

lie意思是“处于某位置”,如:

lie,lie,lay三个动词很容易使人混淆。

lie(说谎)是规则动词,其过去式和过去分词都是lied,现在分词为lying。当然lie也可以用作名词,意为“撒谎”。

lie(躺,位于)是不规则动词,其过去式为lay,过去分词为lain,现在分词为lying。

lay(下蛋,产卵)也是不规则动词,其过去式和过去分词都是laid,现在分词为laying。如:

美国是机器人的诞生地,早在1962年就研制出世界上第一台工业机器人,比起号称"机器人王国"的日本起步至少要早五六年。经过30多年的发展,美国现已成为世界上的机器人强国之一,其技术全面、先进,适应性也很强。具体表现在:

(1)性能可靠,功能全面,精确度高;

(2)机器人语言研究发展较快,语言类型多、应用广,水平高居世界之首;

(3)智能技术发展快,其视觉、触觉等人工智能技术已在航天、汽车工业中广泛应用;

(4)高智能、高难度的军用机器人、太空机器人等发展迅速,主要用于扫雷、布雷、侦察、站岗及太空探测方面。

此外法国,德国,日本,前苏联在这一方面也有突出表现。

我国已在“七五”计划中把机器人列人国家重点科研规划内容,拨巨款在沈阳建立了全国第一个机器人研究示范工程,全面展开了机器人基础理论与基础元器件研究。十几年来,相继研制出示教再现型的搬运、点焊、弧焊、喷漆、装配等门类齐全的工业机器人及水下作业、军用和特种机器人。目前,示教再现型机器人技术已基本成熟,并在工厂中推广应用。我国自行生产的机器人喷漆流水线在长春第一汽车厂及东风汽车厂投入运行。1986年3月开始的国家863高科技发展规划已列入研究、开发智能机器人的内容。就目前来看,我们应从生产和应用的角度出发,结合我国国情,加快生产结构简单、成本低廉的实用型机器人和某些特种机器人。

二、背景知识

机器人是一种自动化机器。它被设计用来代替人类完成各种作业,并在很多方面扩展人类的能力。Robot这个词来源于捷克语robota,意思是“强迫劳动”。机器人技术在生活中的很多领域中使用,最普遍的是在制造业。
