that为定语从句的引导词,放在先行词及定于从句之间起连接作用,同时在定语从句中充当句子成分。that引导的定语从句既可以修饰无生命的事物,也可以修饰有生命的动物或人,that在从句中作主语或宾语(作宾语时可以省略)。
关系代词只能用that的情况:
(1)如果先行词是all,much,anything,something,nothing,everything,little,none等不定代词,关系代词一般只用that,不用which。例如:

一、定语从句的定义
在复合句中起定语作用、修饰句中的名词或代词的从句,被称为定语从句被修饰的名词或代词被称为先行词。定语从句由关系代词或关系副词引导。当关系代词作定语从句的主语时,定语从句的谓语动词的人称和数取决于先行词的人称和数。
二、that引导的定语从句
