一、单元分析(UnitAnalysis)
(一)单元地位(UnitPosition)
1.本课在对人类至今为止太空探索领域取得的伟大创举进行描述时,具体涉及到人类太空时代的开始,第一次载人的太空飞行,人类第一次登上月球和我国“神州五号”载人飞船的成功发射等这几个里程碑式的创举。教师可围绕“人类和太空”这一主题,设计活动让学生参与资料收集和口头讨论,加强对宇宙探索重要性的了解以及中国在探索宇宙方面对人类作出的贡献。可以上升为一堂爱国主义的课程。
2.围绕本课主题“宇宙探索”,可以鼓励学生分小组收集宇宙探索进程中令人刻骨铭心的悲壮场面和具有里程碑意义的事件,并让学生考虑成为一名成功的宇航员所应具备的因素:身体素质、学术知识、精神毅力……
3.本单元的语法复习是定语从句,教师有必要在课堂教学中在一定的句型操练的基础上,着重指出几个易错易混淆的知识点,如:关系代词that和which的区别;定语从句与同位语从句的区别等等。
4.结合中国“神州七号”火箭成功发射和返回,实现中国人在宇宙的漫步,鼓励学生根据有关资料在小组内谈谈自己的体会。

本单元的话题是Firstaid/急救,学习各种情形下的急救常识;单元句法项目是“省略”。
