英语中too...to结构的基本形式是“betoo+adj./adv.(forsb.)+todosth.”,意为“(对某人来说)太……而不能……”,它在形式上是肯定的,但在意义上是否定的。使用该结构时,应注意以下几点:
1.当主语本身是动词不定式的逻辑宾语时,不定式后不接宾语。此时的不定式如果是不及物动词,动词之后应加上适当的介词,这时的主语就变成了介词的宾语。如:
