1.a,an,the的用法
a,an是不定冠词,the是定冠词。他们都放在名词的前面,起着修饰名词的作用。a,an表示“一”,通常放在第一次出现的人或事物的单数名词前,泛泛而指,因此被称为“不定”冠词。如,Thisisaboy.Theboyismybrother.Itisanapple.而the是特指一些事物,使说话双方心中都知道的人或物,因此被称为“定”冠词。如,TheteacherisfromChina.
2.therebe句型的结构及用法
(1)therebe的结构为Therebe+名词+地点。表示某处有某物。具体表现为三种句子结构,即:Thereis+可数名词单数+地点.Thereis+不可数名词+地点.Thereare+可数名词复数+地点
例如:①Thereisanappleonthedesk.桌子上面有一个苹果。
②Thereissomewaterinthecup.杯子里有些水。
③Therearetwocatsbehindthedoor.门后有两只猫。
(2)therebe的否定句是直接在be动词后面加not。如:Therearetwoboysintheclassroom.变为否定句是Therearen’ttwoboysintheclassroom.
(3)therebe的一般疑问句是把be动词提前,句尾加问号。如:Thereisanewbookontheteacher’sdesk.变为否定句是Isthereanewbookontheteacher’sdesk?其肯定的回答是Yes,thereis.否定的回答是No,thereisn’t.
2.介词on,inbehind的用法
on表示“在……的上面”,in表示“在……里面”,behind表示“在……后面”。
4.有关therebe句型中的一致原则。
例如:Thereisapencilandtworubbersonthedesk./Therearetworubbersandapencilonthedesk.
这两句都表示铅笔盒里有两块橡皮和一支铅笔。当紧接着be动词的名词是单数apencil时,be动词就用is的形式。当紧接着be动词的名词是复数tworubbers时,be动词就用are的形式。

这是Thisis…句型的一般疑问句:Isthis+名词单数?意思是:这是……吗?在回答这类问句时,用代词he/she/it,而不用this或that。

3.可数名词复数
英语中的名词分为普通名词和专有名词,普通名次又分为可数名词和不可数名词。可数名词分为单数和复数两种形式。当我们表示两个或两个以上的人或物时,就要用复数形式。名词变复数形式的部分规则如下:

5.冠词的用法
a和an都是,用在名词的前面表示人、事物的类别,它们都可以表示“一”,两者的不同点是:a用在以辅音音素开头的单词、符号、字母及数字等的前面;an用在以元音音素开头的单词、符号、字母及数字等的前面。例如:apear一个梨/anapple一个苹果。
Thereisan“f”anda“u”intheword“full”.单词“full”中有一个字母f和一个字母u。
6.Howmany+名次复数+arethere+地点状语?的句型用法。
它的回答是:Thereis/are…+地点状语。例如:Howmanygirlsarethereinthepicture?图画里有多少女孩?Therearefour.有四个。

乐施会毅行者(OxfamTrailwalker)是为募捐而进行的一种慈善步行,每年举办一次,由香港乐施会组织。路线是100公里的麦理浩径,从东到西穿越8个乡村公园。这种活动原先是英国军队中廓尔喀兵的一种耐力训练,不过现在已经成为深受各界人士欢迎的团队活动,全程必须在48小时内跑完。每队有4个人,挑战开始之前以及在进行过程当中,要求每个人做好计划,相互支持,相互帮助。团队精神至关重要,因为整个队必须一起跑完全部路程。每个参加的队可以从后勤人员那里得到食物、饮料以及又干又保暖的衣物。每个队需募集到至少6000港币的赞助。这些赞助款用来帮助穷人,实施发展项目和救济计划。
