一、导入同学们中一定有不少都喜欢科学吧,都喜欢看中央电视台第10套的科学节目吧?有谁能给大家讲讲科学的小故事呢?
老师这里也收集了两个讲给大家听听:

二、训练
1、说一说:
我第一次迷上了科学。
开展这项活动,旨在促使学生回忆自己从童年到少年时代如何第一次与科学结缘,从而重新唤醒和提高对科学的兴趣。
教师对活动的指导,要注意营造轻松愉快的氛围,让学生自由畅谈。只有在自由畅谈中,才能相互启发,让沉睡的记忆重新激活。
提问:
你第一次迷上科学是在什么时候?
是因为一件玩具,一本书,还是一次难忘的活动?
这对你后来兴趣爱好产生了什么影响?
儿童对科学产生兴趣的原因有很多,或是在上学路上,或是在玩耍之中,或因花开花落,或因鸟鸣虫唱……教师要启发、帮助学生活跃思维,展开思路,让学生谈得有趣,谈出心得。需要注意的是,对于有的同学来说,可能保留在他记忆中的不是“第一次如何迷上科学”,而是对科学的着迷第一次如何受到挫折,如何被折断了对科学入迷的感情幼芽。对于这种经历不妨也允许、鼓励学生谈一谈,或许在反思中让自己和他人都能受到启迪。
2、写一写:
思考自然的启示。
⑴ 齐读书上的材料
⑵ 归纳材料显露的科学道理。
⑶ 引导写作:
比较而言,第一则故事更适宜于写科学小品,而第二则故事更适宜于写科学童话。
注意:对于学生写科学小品、科学童话不能要求过高;对学生作品评价的主要方式应是交流、展览和选择优秀作文在班上朗读。
3、做一做:
展示身边的科技发明。
这项活动,旨在培养学生在科学的大世界中“动口又动手”的习惯和意识,推动学生成为科学技术的推广者和宣传员。
活动一:查阅资料,为最新科技成果写一篇说明性文字;
活动二:向别人介绍自己的小发明、小制作。
指导:
活动一要注意两个问题:
⑴ 要求学生介绍的应是“最新的科技成果”(当然,“最新”是相对而言的);
⑵ 要求学生写一篇说明性文字。比较而言,“说明性文字”比“说明文”的写作要求要低一点。因此,不要求每个同学都写成说明文,只要把“最新科技成果”介绍、说明清楚即可,而对于写作基础较好的同学,可以要求写成较为规范的说明文。
活动二:指导,教师要鼓励学生大胆地把自己的小发明、小制作展示出来,有必要的话,可以让学生边演示边讲解、介绍(这项活动可以与其他学科老师比如物理、劳技课老师取得联系,邀请他们参与活动,参与评价)。至于写“新闻稿”,可以由发明者、制作者来写,也可以让观众(同学)来写。
4、评一评:
科学技术两面观。
首先,让学生充分查阅、了解科学技术的“正面功能”和“负面效应”。
其次,小组讨论,在对科学技术作出全面、辨证认识的基础上,养成学生的人文情感。
最后,全班交流,可以是各组总结陈述,也可以是小组之间进行激烈的辩论。
三、小结、写作
科学技术是人类理性精神的最高成就,它揭开一个个自然之谜,把古人美好的梦想变成了现实。今天,我们也科海泛了一下舟,不知同学们捕捞了多少,何不把你的收获变成大家的享受呢?请同学们就这次活动所牵涉到的故事,道理,感受择其一写出来。

抽一两个学生进行讲述意在培养其口头表达能力。教师视情况讲一至两个,以激发兴趣。
教师引导,学生畅谈。
初写科学说明文,先有依可循,小试牛刀。
当堂完成,教师巡视指导,优秀的及时交流。
这一部分要留一些到课外完成。也可形成小的综合实践活动。
估计这一部分要在第二课时才能进行,而且也要求学生事前准备。
