1.在环境问题日益锐显的当代社会,占有全球4/3的海洋无疑是突破全球环保问题的重中之中。高年级学生更应更多熟悉及关注国际社会对于该主题的研究和相关信息,让学生对于一些常见的该类词汇的认知,教师设计活动让学生参与口语讨论,从而加强对学生对此类信息的分析和接收能力。
2.围绕本课主题“有限的海洋”,学生探讨:海洋生态、海洋污染、海洋保护的重要性、及如何保护海洋环境……。并在此基础上,描述“我们如何参与保护海洋环境”
3.本课中出现了新的语法现象——TheSubjunctiveMood(2)。本单元主要学习If–ClauseinthePastPerfectTense。

“头脑风暴”是提供学生积极思维的好机会。这一环节的运用既能发挥学生的积极主动性,又能使学生在小组活动中互帮互助。以小组活动方式呈现合作结果,让全体学生都对有关“环境污染”的词汇加以回顾与复习,对新的词汇加以补充与学习
1、教师准备空白纸,分发到每一合作小组中。在组员中确定“记录者”;“汇报者”,并明确职责。时间控制在2分钟。
2、在“头脑风暴”过程中,“记录者”记录组内成员能想到的所有“海洋生态和海洋环保”的词汇。
3、请每组“汇报者”报出所罗列的“环境项目”总数。以“优胜组”为代表汇报结果。教师可把一些较新,较好的词汇写在黑板上,让全班学生学习。
