2.丰富的词汇知识和扎实的辨析能力。要有一定的词汇量,一个单词可能有几个词义,对常用的词义都应掌握,要掌握其不同的词性,否则,只知词义不知词性仍然无法进行正确的把握。要掌握常用的词语搭配和词语辨析。
3.掌握阅读技巧,提高语篇理解能力。

高考渐近,该如何准备呢?笔者根据自己多年辅导考生的经验和以往成功考生的切身体会,建议考生根据各个考题型做针对性的准备;
1.“单项填空”题
在备考“单项填空”题时,不易采用题海战术,但对做过的一些题目,特别是做错的题,要认真分析,找出出错原因;对简单的题要总结规律,对难题要记牢;千万不要在难题上花费太多的时间和精力,回避难偏窄怪题;要重视与语境;时态;动词短语相关的题目;
在复习期间,可以采取相对集中的方法,进行整理,补补“漏子”,梳梳“辫子”,按照教学大纲的要求“先上口,后归纳,抓核心,辨差异,找规律,编口诀,举一反三,巧滚雪球”,使你在初;高中学习的内容融会贯通;复习时可以注意以下几个问题:
(1)动词不定式作宾语补足语何时不带to?

在临近考试的日子里,一定要大声朗读近几年的高考“完形填空”题,形成语感;这会给我们展示设计“完形填空”题的思路和角度;同时我们应重视文章的整体性和逻辑性;如果时间允许,可以把往年各省市的高考“完形填空”题,作为热身的练习;做题时要从上下文;词汇意义及用法的角度考虑,要从逻辑推理;常识等角度考虑,要从惯用法和搭配的角度考虑;每个题目都需要从多个角度进行分析;很多情况下,只有从词义;上下文;生活常识等多个角度考虑才能选出正确答案;
3.“阅读理解”题
在冲刺阶段,考生应有计划地多安排一些限时阅读训练,通常每五篇阅读材料作为一组,在35到40分钟里完成;这样既可以营造考试的氛围,还可以训练阅读速度;同时,为了适应高考阅读材料,还可以读一些难易程度适中;原汁原味的文章,有条件的同学可以读读21thCentury(成人版)和EnglishSalon上刊登的文章,也许会起到无心插柳柳成荫的效果;
进行阅读训练时要注意以下几点:
(1)阅读要有广度
要选读题材多样;有时代气息的文章;
(2)阅读要有深度
进行阅读训练时,还应注意选择难度适中的文章来读;应该在老师的指导下,选读一些质量较高的文章,放弃那些质量一般的文章;
(3)阅读要有速度
“阅读理解”题的总阅读量一般为2,000个词左右(含短文;题干和选题);按考试说明中35分钟的建议答题时间计算,读速每分钟应达60个词左右;建议在平时训练时掌握在35分钟内完成;
4.记忆单词可采用以下方法:
(1)音形结合记忆;构词法记忆和读音记忆;
(2)分式记忆;这种记忆方式主要用来记忆不规则动词;

(4)对比记忆;
将意义相反的单词归纳在一起记忆;如:come—go,right—left,black—write,here—there,free—busy,forget—remember等;
(5)区别记忆;
将同义词或近义词;同音词或近音词以及形似词归类记忆;如同义词或近义词:learn,study;haveon,wear,dress,puton,pullon,bedressedin;perhaps,maybe,probably;big,great,large,huge;lookafter,takecareof,tend;pull,draw,drag等;同音词;近音词:write,right;meat,meet;rise,rice;food,foot;leave,live等;形似词:quite,quilt,quick,quiz;bed,bad;beg,bag等;
(6)分解记忆;
对一些复合词可采用此方法帮助记忆;如:classroom-class+room;playground—play+ground;everything—every+thing;newspaper—news+paper;homework—home+work等;
(7)联想记忆;
由一事物联想到与此相关的其他事物来记忆单词;如:由school联想到teacher,student,class,desk,classmate,headmaster,college,university等;
(8)词缀记忆;
对于一些派生词可利用前缀和后缀帮助记忆;如:care—careful—careless—carefully—carelessly;happy—happiness—happily—unhappy;agree—agreement—disagree—disagreeable—disagreement等;
(9)“不等式”找感觉记忆;
对表示频率及时光;岁月的词,用“不等式”找感觉记忆;如:always,often,usually,sometimes,onceinawhile,never;year,season,month,week,day,hour,minute,second等;
(10)连词成句记忆;
把单词;短语组成句子,或组成一个小短文,然后熟读背诵;
5.“短文改错”题
“短文改错”题的实质就是同学们自己考自己;一般一道“短文改错”题类似于一篇学生习作;所以在备考阶段自己要写一些作文,同学之间互相批改,互相发现错误;这样既提高了写作水平又练习了改错;
6.“书面表达”题
备考阶段要多看一些范文,多背一些好句,不要忘了“熟读唐诗三百首,不会写来也会吟”;另外还要用一些常用动词和句式做一些汉译英的练习;
